Renee Carlson was born and raised in Tallahassee. She started working in childcare in 2006. Renee holds a Masters Degree in Special Education from Florida State University and a Bachelors Degree in Communication Disorders from Florida State University. Renee enjoys spending time with her husband and her four children, running, biking, reading, hiking and camping.
“My favorite thing about being a Director is, of course, all the hugs I get all day long! I also love watching the children learn and seeing them grow over the course of a school year. I love many things about Growing Room, but what I love the most is getting to know the children and families who are involved in our program. They become like a second family to us.”
