Growing Room Welaunee Director
Virginia Norwood has worked for Growing Room since June 2010. She is from Tampa, Florida but was raised in Tallahassee. Virginia graduated from Tallahassee Community College with her Early Childhood Degree. She has two children, a daughter who is 15 and a son who is 5. She enjoys cooking and spending quality time with them.
“My favorite part of my day is greeting all my families and receiving all the sweet hugs from each child as I walk through the center. I am extremely passionate about working with children and truly grateful for the opportunity to connect with all of the families.”
